Irish company, Sigma Print and Media Group, has become thefirst customer for the new Roland DG XC-540MT wide format metallic inkjet printer. The equipment, which can print silver in addition to the regular CMYK plus white, will help the company's wedding book division provide enhanced print options in its personalised wedding and photo books.
CEO, Sigma Print and Media Group, Rory Kelly, said: "The photo book market is one of the fastest growth markets within the print industry and with the introduction of the XC-540MT, we are able to bring a unique and emotive product to the marketplace. The ability to produce dynamic metallic colours and finishes will enable us to create high end and bespoke covers for our wedding books and photobooks. All tastes can be accommodated."
