Green ink goes further
Published:  23 November, 2009

Further enhancing its green policy, Durst now provides free collection and disposal of all waste Rho ink. To help control ink stocks and minimise waste, the company is also able to supply all inks in five litre single packs. Depending on the volume of ink usage, Durst can offer a recycle credit of the waste ink up to a maximum of five per cent of the total purchase.

The service, which aims to offer customers better value, complements Durst's environmentally friendly UV inks. Durst Rho inks contain no VOCs and conform to the restriction of hazardous substances (RoHS) directive 2002/96/EC and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) directive 2002/96/EC. This means that Durst's Rho inks do not have to carry the symbol of the dead fish or dead tree. Furthermore, Durst Rho Roll Ink has been approved to the stringent Nordic Swan environmental standard.
