Yorkshire-based ImageData Group is developing its large and medium format digital print capabilities with the installation of an Agfa Graphics :M-Press Tiger. The new press is supplied by Thieme KPX.
ImageData Group chairman, Roger Birkin, explained: “The new :M-Press Tiger delivers the speed, quality and cost-of-ownership that will make a significant contribution to our production capacity alongside our other investments.”
Thieme KPX managing director, Bill Kippax, said: “The :M-Press is built on a Thieme screen printing base and adds the new :M-Press Tiger UV inkjet shuttle. It makes the system 300 per cent more productive than the original M-Press with a higher quality output. The effective output is equal to traditional screen printing for the majority of common screen printing run-lengths.”
