A larger demonstration area and improved facilities for the company's Print Academy courses will be available at Epson's new Westside premises in Apsley, which will be home to over 250 Epson UK and Epson Europe staff.
A number of specially commissioned art works have been installed around the new offices, including one piece printed on frosted brushed aluminium. The artworks, produced by interior design company, Limited, showcase Epson’s digital imaging technology and demonstrate the versatility of the Epson Stylus Pro GS6000 in producing decorative art using eco-solvent ink on a variety of substrates, such as metals, plastics and textiles.
The refurbishment of the Westside offices also enabled Epson to adopt lighting fitted with movement sensors. New heating and air conditioning plant will also reduce energy usage and improve efficiency with all energy used coming from renewable sources.
