Roland DG has announced the new 64in VersaCAMM VS-640. Available in three configurations, this printer/cutter delivers new application potential with metallic ink. The printer is also available configured to print dual CMYK and as a Hi-Fi colour printer with light cyan and light magenta, plus white ink.

Whatever configuration, the VersaCAMM VS-640 provides a robust 64in print and cut platform in one manageable footprint. Maintenance is largely automatic. The machine boasts an ink recirculation system designed to prevent the pigment in metallic and white ink from settling. Thanks to a heavy-duty take-up unit, unattended print and cut operation is possible.

The VersaCAMM VS-640 features Roland OnSupport, a diagnostic support package that alerts the user to tasks including print finish, low ink or emergency stop via emails.

Price, including the take-up unit is £17,999
