Turn shop windows into digital displays
Shop windows and glass partitions are usually covered with static images. Now, MACtac’s new Glass Movie films allow rear projection to animate shop windows. These filmic constructions can be applied onto synthetic or natural glass, with movie-style pictures projected from behind the glass surface, allowing viewing by those passing by.
The films are designed to provide greatly contrasting colours and a high image resolution, ensuring images are visible at close range and at distance. Images are visible from a 100deg angle and any screen size is possible, from a company logo to XXL. Sign makers can use a plotter cutter to shape the screen. Application is via standard self-adhesive film.
Glass movie technology can be used to provide information or create a unique atmosphere for special events organised by travel agencies, car dealers, amusement parks, shopping malls and railway stations. Wherever image projection adds value, these films help deliver additional profit opportunities to printers.
