Amari Plastics has announced Multiply Digital, a plywood sheet developed for the flat bed digital printing market for the hoarding, advertising and general sign markets. Whilst many printers currently print on to vinyl or ACM and then mount to standard plywood, Multiply Digital eliminates the second stage, saving time and production costs. Furthermore, Multiply Digital can be removed and recycled after use.

Made from birch, Multiply Digital is a tough, heavy duty board with a specialist coating that allows UV digital and screen printing. Backed with a phenolic film and factory prepared edges, Multiply Digital lets the user print and fit.

Amari’s Product and Purchasing development manager, Jamie Manifold, commented: “Multiply Digital demonstrates that Amari Plastics is developing with its customers and providing products that are eco friendly but also remove cost, that is real value for money.”

Amari Plastics carries stock in 6.5, 12 and 15mm thick panels in a standard sheet size of 1220 by 2440mm. Larger and double sided boards are available to order. Multiply Digital is available in 18mm, but not as a stock item.
