In times like these, taking time out of the office is a rare and valuable commodity. Make the most of it by carefully planning your visit to Sign and Digital UK

Whether you're looking for expert advice from the educational programme, the latest products and innovations to help improve your business or quite simply a bargain, Sign and Digital UK, running 13 to 15 April 2010 at the NEC, Birmingham, claims to offer something for everyone.

Maximise your time at the show, which is free to attend, by planning ahead on-line. The event promises to be a who's who of top industry suppliers demonstrating new products, equipment and advice, so take the opportunity to compare and contrast the latest offerings. Many companies are promising to slash prices to encourage on-site buying.

Another reason to visit is the free educational programme and master class line up, which promises advice, inspiration and solutions to business challenges.

New this year is the Sign Makers Demo Theatre. Visitors to this dedicated area can come and see an expert demonstrating some of the most commonly asked for jobs in the world of sign making. This forum not only allows you to watch and learn but also ask questions one to one and get hands on with the tools and equipment involved. Presenting this new feature is Paul Hughes from Western Signs and Printing and the Price It Guide. He has owned and run a sign making business for 13 years.

Returning to the show once more, Adobe will be hosting its own software theatre hosted by Terry Steeley from Iridius. This area promises demonstrations, tips and creative solutions for using Adobe Creative Suite 4, including Adobe Bridge, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro. In addition, representatives will be on hand from Apple, giving a session on getting the most out of Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard.

Running alongside the Adobe Theatre are the Corel seminar sessions covering CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5, Corel  Painter 11, as well as targeted sessions on using these packages to design vehicle  and web graphics.

Finally, take advantage of the opportunity to glean free advice through the numerous demonstrations taking place around the show. Exhibition organisers have created a Live Demo Trail for 2010 to help visitors ensure they don't miss anything.

With all this going on, it really makes sense to plan ahead, which is why the Sign and Digital organisers have created yet another time-saving internet based tool. The 'plan your day' feature allows visitors to map out which seminars, exhibitors and demonstrations they wish to attend, to maximise valuable time at the show.
