Young people looking to fund their training for a career in the UK printing and graphic arts industries are invited to apply for a Print Futures Award. Funds of £2,500 each are available to people aged 16 to30 years who are resident in the UK.
Now in their seventh year, the awards are sponsored by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), Unite the Union and the Printers’ Charitable Corporation, which is soon to be known as The Printing Charity.
Applications are also welcome from those already undergoing company training. Successful applicants in this category will receive £1,250, with the balance of £1,250 to be met by their employers.
The closing date for entries is 9 April, 2010 and the awards will be presented in July.
