Screen print supplier plans training school
D Roper Ltd, which have more than 40 years’ experience in the screen printing machinery business, have moved to a new, purpose built 3,500 square foot industrial unit based in Kidderminster.
Managing director, Dave Roper comments: “We wanted to offer customers a place to visit so they can spend time trying the machinery before they buy. With 3,500 square foot of space, it gives us the opportunity to set up the machinery for the customer and run print trials and give the customer 100% attention in a showroom environment.
“We will also be running in house training schools – from start-up packages to special effects. There is a huge shortage of training schools for textile printing in the UK. With more than 40 years’ in-house experience and most of the major players such as M&R, Newman, Shur-loc, Tekmar and many ink suppliers we can tailor each course to suit your requirements.”
The new warehouse also stocks parts, inks and consumables to meet online demand.
Adds Dave: “We will be having at least two open day events a year (dates to be released). This gives to customer a chance to see the latest technology and effects in one place. Being based in the Midlands we can be easily reached and for our international customers, Birmingham International Airport is only 30 minutes from the showroom.”
