Quest to find the Oldest Wide Format Printer in Town

Top UK wide format reseller www.hpdesignjet.net has just announced a very ambitious and dynamic marketing campaign to find the oldest working wide format printer in the UK.  The idea “if it aint broke, it don’t need fixin” holds fast here in the UK and so the people at hpdesignjet.net now want designers, architects, engineers and signmakers who love their old printers to register their printers for the promotion, with a chance to win one of three Apple iPAD’s that are up for grabs.

The three categories are:

1) oldest large format plan copier/printer

2) oldest large format inkjet printer

3) lucky dip draw for everyone who enters, irrespective of your printers age

Graham Baulch of hpdesignjet.net explains the reasons behind the promotion; “We’ve been involved in this industry for over 30 years and have seen many technologies evolve and grow with ever faster speeds, accuracy and colour gamut. Medias now range from digital wallpapers to self-adhesive vinyl’s, textiles, banner materials and bio-degradable and recyclable materials. As a major supplier of wide format print equipment, we thought it would be a really fun way of showing just how much people love their wide format printers. “

Designjet.net hope that by making a big impression with this campaign they can get the digital print world excited about the amazing growth in technology witnessed throughout the years. Some of these printers may have been revolutionary for their time and they are offering a revolutionary prize to match – in the form of an Apple iPAD.

The competition ends on the 28th of April and will be showcased also on the GWL/www.hpdesignjet.net stand at Sign & Digital UK to be held at Birmingham NEC on the 12th -14th of April, Stand B32.
