New White Face Ultra Board

Recycled paper honeycomb manufacturer, Dufaylite, has launched a new and improved white face for its pioneering product Ultra Board – a lightweight, robust, highly versatile and 100% recyclable substrate.

The Ultra Board Mk2 facing measures 65% whiter and 25% brighter than its predecessor, has a white inner face and produces a whiter appearance throughout. This enhancement allows for sharper and lighter printed images, produces more vibrant colours and creates greater contrast on the print surface.

The new white face is sourced from FSC certified forests in the UK and conforms to ISO9706 requirements for permanence, giving it longer lasting whiteness, produces no static electricity, uses 86% per cent less energy to produce and is totally sustainable – making it the greenest material on the market.

Tony Moscrop, CEO of Dufaylite, comments: “Dufaylite Ultra Board has become a favourite sustainable product in the print and signage industries, but we are always looking to find new ways to improve our products for clients and the Ultra Board Mk2 does exactly this. Being brighter and whiter all the way through and even more eco-friendly makes the product a printer’s dream.”
