Printwear & Promotion Live – back bigger and better for 2012!
Registration is now open for Printwear & Promotion Live 2012, which looks set to be the biggest show in the industry for a number of years.
The show, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from February 26th to 28th, is 30% bigger than the 2011 show, with a raft of first time exhibitors, new printwear brands, the latest machinery and a renewed focus on teamwear, ahead of the London Olympics.
For printers wishing to diversify into garment printing, this show is a must, with direct to garment digital printing specialists on hand to help and advise all the way.
And, of course, for printwear blanks, the show offers unrivalled access to all of the major printwear distributors and suppliers – including a number of exciting new brands.
On the machinery front, J&B Sewing Machine Company Ltd will be showcasing their new “industrial strength” AnaJet mPower Digital Apparel Printer which offers true production speed and capacity for digital graphics.
Amaya Sales UK will be showing the new compact faster Texjet Plus
which offers full industrial strength and prints up to a massive 42 x 60cm, while Resolute DTG Ltd will be showcasing the popular R-Jet 4 textile printer.
Resolute DTG will also be presenting a seminar looking at the advances in Direct To Garment Printing and its proven ability to survive the current economic climate. They will also explore the future of direct to garment printing and its growing use in garment decoration.
Target Transfers will be exhibiting the latest cad-cut and custom print technology. Featuring this year will be the new Premium Plus materials, including the nylon and Subli-stop versions which are already revolutionising the amount of time it takes to personalise a garment.

The Hotronix range of heat presses will also be demonstrated on the stand, including the incredible Fusion press featuring touch screen technology.
The likes of Nova Chrome and Xpres, Listawood and TheMagicTouch will be offering systems that don’t just involve garment printing, but are very much there for printing onto promotional products as well – mugs, mousemats, or whatever else it might be.
The show’s sales manager, Tony Gardner says: “There will also be plenty on offer for those on the lookout for new machinery. We will be covering all bases from direct to garment, sublimation and screen printing to embroidery machinery.
“Machinery stands at our 2011 show were rammed. The equipment guys said they’d had the best show for a few years.
“There’s a lot of interest in digital garment printing, so there will be some new equipment on show for 2012.”
According to Tony, Printwear & Promotion Live 2012 is going to be the biggest (and the best!) for some years.
Concludes Tony: “There’s always something new at Printwear & Promotion Live and 2012 is no exception. With new exhibitors, additional suppliers, new services, products and clothing brands, information rich seminars and a professionally choreographed fashion show, 2012 is set to be a vintage year. Certainly, sportswear is a major headline, so if visitors are looking to benefit from the increase in sportswear as a result of the Olympics and what will follow on from that, then Printwear & Promotion will provide an excellent starting point for them.”
