Cutting the cost of LFP investment
Published:  01 April, 2007

A major revision of its pricing strategy has seen Canon UK cut the price of its large format printers (LFPs) by up to 33 per cent. This is the latest in a raft of Canon incentives to drive the modernisation of the LFP market.

As a result customers can expect the 44in imagePROGRAF iPF8000, for example, to retail at £5,995, down from its previous price of £6,495, while the iPF700 36in printer is down from £3,995 to £3,495 and the iPF600, 24in model now costs £1,995.

Canon UK, LFP product marketing manager, Anne Sharp, said: “The large format printing market is rapidly expanding and having access to the latest equipment is something that our customers demand. We continue to offer value for money to encourage growth in the market as a whole.”
