3M will support Mutoh's Spitfire Extreme printers as part of its warranty package |
Wide-format printer manufacturer, Mutoh Europe, and 3M Commercial Graphics Division Europe have joined forces, to make Mutoh's Spitfire Extreme 65 and 90in wide inkjet printers available as part of 3M’s matched component system graphics warranty (MCS) when used with 3M's mild-solvent series 600 inks.
This will allow print-for-pay businesses to produce graphics on a Spitfire Extreme printer, covered by the 3M MCS warranty.
The program will provide a total system solution consisting of inks, media, printer, software, training and service. Application possibilities include fleet and vehicle graphics, indoor and outdoor signs, banners and flexible signs.
Market development manager, 3M Commercial Graphics Division Europe, Rainer Schlösser, said: “3M is committed to expanding its support for high quality piezo ink jet systems. Our MCS warranty program for the Mutoh Spitfire Extreme will give customers more options to produce high quality, durable graphics for a range of applications. Warranty of up to five years will be possible, backed by 3M as a total solution provider. The Spitfire printers were selected because of their ability to achieve consistent and repeatable output quality according to the 3M standard of 13 m2/h.”
