Axis Warranty Services has further extended its support offering with the addition of a national super-wide format service centre for machines manufactured by NUR, Viewtek, Durst, Scitex and Geti.
A further partner repairer company has also been added to deal with Mimaki, Roland, HP and Epson equipment. National support packages will include print industry breakdown cover, with one or two preventative maintenance visits.
Further to its wide format offering, Axis has also signed up a new repairer partner in its core business sector, with support for Agfa Platesetters and a dedicated Heidelberg DI press repairer.
Business development director, Keith Pratt, sees these additions to the preferred repairer listing as key to the success of providing breakdown support to print machinery users. He said: “Our aim is to provide priority support to the equivalent or better than an industry standard maintenance contract, at a price which is acceptable to the printer.”
“As the Vision in Print report on maintenance best practice highlights, printers need to focus on the care and attention to their plant, equipment and machines to prevent problems which unduly affect production and profit.”
