Two wide-format paper products manufactured by Océ have been accredited as environmentally friendly by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Océ Green Label and Océ Standard Paper Plus, both now carry the FSC logo.
Océ UK’s product manager, Caroline Baglin, said: “To a customer, the FSC logo is a promise that their goods originate from a responsible and sustainable source. Consumer awareness of FSC is growing and we see accreditation as a positive development for our imaging supplies range demonstrating Océ’s commitment to the environment.”
Suitable for use on the Océ TDS range, Green Label paper is a total-chlorine-free (TCF) off-white substrate, made from cellulose that has not been bleached using chlorine or chlorine compounds. It is made using 100 per cent recycled cores and packaged in 75 per cent recycled boxes.
Alternatively, for the Océ TCS and Océ CS range, Standard Plus Paper is designed to combine high whiteness with great composition, providing durability suitable for working documents. It features an additional coating to increase humidity resistance and is available in a range of roll sizes and cut sheets.
