Direct-on-garment printers and inks manufactured by Kornit Digital and available in the UK from Adelco, have been approved for digitally printing on babies' clothing by Oeko-Tex, the international association for research and testing in the field of textile ecology.
With demand for digitally printed baby apparel increasing, Kornit's team of chemists conducted research into pigmented inks and chemical formulations, aiming to achieve the optimum solution for these tiny but important clients. The result is Kornit's new baby-safe V 201 white ink, which meets the human-ecological requirements of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for baby articles when digitally printed on cotton and polyester fabrics.
