New factory for plastics specialist
Published:  01 March, 2008

RH Plastics Technology has completed the move to its new workshops, showrooms and offices in Bradford. The new facility has over 3,000m2 of ground floor space encompassing a main workshop/showroom with a reception area and offices. The workshop/showroom also has a mezzanine floor which will eventually feature light engineering workshops alongside demonstration areas for smaller machines such as foot welders and shuttle machines.

The main showroom itself has room to display and demonstrate several large machines including the largest models from manufacturers such as GEAF, Hamer, Unimec and Saval. The adjacent workshop areas are fully equipped to enable RH Plastics Technology's engineers to undertake major refurbishment, re-builds and repairs.

All of the company's employees have moved to the new facility and chief executive, Robert Haxby, is delighted that his engineering and administration teams have not been disrupted by the move. "This is the fulfilment of a longstanding business objective. Not only have we moved to a facility that's more than large enough to meet our expansion plans but we've also kept our teams together. Added to this we are now literally minutes away from the motorway network and only thirty minutes from Leeds/Bradford Airport.  That puts us in a terrific position to offer an even better service to our U.K. and European customers."
