In conjunction with UK Canon distributor Velmex, SPDI is offering readers the chance to win one of two Canon large format printers.
To enter the competition, visit the Win a Cannon website, read the technical specifications of the prize printers and find the answers to three straightforward questions posted online.
Prizes include a 24in wide A1 printer, the Canon ImagePrograf 610, which is a combined CAD/GIS and poster printer. Suitable for printing pre-press mock-ups, this printer is also available as part of a promotion running alongside the Win a Canon competition with a reduced price of £995.
The second printer up for grabs is a 44in wide S-series iPF8000S. With a production speed of up to 37.5m/h, the eight-colour S-series is designed for volume production of display graphics, posters and print-for-pay.
Using a dual print head system, the S-series employs up to 5,120 nozzles per colour and has a maximum print resolution of 2,400 by 1,200dpi. It also incorporates features such as built-in colour calibration, automatic clogged nozzle detection and 330 and 700ml selectable ink capacity sizes.
