Sign manufacturer, Vista System, has been recognised by the Society for Environmental Graphic Design Green Committee (SEGD) as a company that employs green practices in the creation of its environmentally friendly modular sign system. It also highlights that the processes and materials used throughout the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of its goods are as environmentally friendly as possible.

To qualify, Vista had to meet various criteria including longevity. Vista System allows users to change elements of the sign while maintaining the system over a long period of time. Vista also met resource and waste management requirements with a modular system that can be separated into individual recyclable elements and a packaging system that can be recycled or reused.

Vista products use mechanical fasteners instead of harmful out-gassing adhesives and the main materials in Vista System products are recycled aluminum and polymer, said to be a low energy consumption material. Finally, Vista provides guidance to the end user in the green use of its product.
