Job setup and output is said to be easier than ever using Gandinnovations' new RIP software created by ErgoSoft.
The colour management solution is designed specifically for use with Jeti printers and comprises a colour rendering engine; an open colour management system with custom linearisation and ink limiting, support for various spectrophotometers; an integrated ICC profiler and colour GPS. GandiSoft works in concert with Job Client, RIP server and Print Queue to make job setup and output easier, with all tasks accomplished from a single window.
President in charge of manufacturing operations in Canada, James Gandy, said: "Print shops demand high quality output fast and efficiently. GandiSoft was formulated specifically for Jeti Printers by ErgoSoft to deliver maximum throughput, prominent and distinct images, the most accurate colour possible and efficient and accurate job application. ErgoSoft combined the best features of its two top selling software products to create the new software. Director of technical services for ErgoSoft US, Peter Supry, explained: "We included optional features from our most popular products and made them standard components of GandiSoft. For example, the Hot Folder which automates workflow production; the I-Cut/contour cut module; our ColorGPS ICC profiler; and multiple printer RIP queue are all included in the package."
