Vivid states the main advantage of its new Matrix 530 laminator, compared with other single-sided models, is the £8,000 price tag for a system that laminates at up to 10m per minute.
The machine can laminate all paper sizes up to SRA2 and features a semi-automated feed system and rear separator for cutting prints into individual sheets, ready for trimming. The company states the Matrix' speed and reliability are class leading, with printers quickly reaping the rewards of their investment if looking for an in-house single sided laminator to expand their service offering.
Other features include side lays (which eliminate guess work when feeding prints) and an anti-curl bar.
Lease options start from £40 per week. The system will also be available for demonstration at Vivid's Midlands-based showroom.
