Switching inks cuts costs
Published:  05 March, 2009

Print and design company, Europrint Sign Services claims to have cut costs while maintaining print quality after switching to Sun Chemical's Streamline inks in its HP 9000 series printers.

The Irish company, which runs three wide format printers, offers a national trade print service producing signage, banners and posters. It has been using Streamline ink cartridges since last year supplied by the Reprocentre, distributor of Streamline inks in Ireland.

Owner of Europrint Sign Services, Sean Burke, said: "It was vital that Streamline inks delivered the same quality, performance and colour integrity as the OEM products. The Reprocentre team conducted a comparison test, which really opened our eyes and ensured that Streamline met all our quality criteria."

Sales director, Reprocentre, Eoin Honan, said: "With the addition of Europrint, we are now supplying around 20 Irish companies with Streamline inks, which demonstrates the quality of the product."

Sales manager, Sun Chemical, Bernard Sanaghan, added: "Europrint is a great example of how printers can use third-party products to benefit their businesses. It will enable the company to continue delivering top quality materials, high productivity and flexibility across a range of projects."
