Screen printing chemistry developed by CPS is helping Hungarian screen printer, Cut Art Print and Dekor, to increase the productivity of its large format screen print systems. Cleaning and reclamation chemicals have also helped the company improve print quality, resolution and consistency from its automated production equipment.

Based in Budapest and employing a team of 23, Cut Art Print and Dekor specialises in producing large poster and billboard advertisements and promotional materials. Managing director, István Szocs, explained that in recent years the company has expanded rapidly into the large format arena, extending its inkjet production facilities with screen printing using A00 roll and sheet fed machines. The entire screen printing process from coating and exposure to screen cleaning and stencil reclamation is fully automated.

Cut Art Print and Dekor selected the CPS Green Screen Chemicals System, including screen wash V3, developed specifically for high-speed automatic cleaning lines. The range also includes MF screen adhesive, designed to be resistant to washout and Ultracoat CTS, said to provide exceptional resolution with consistent washout.

István Szocs is delighted with the result: "Combined, our automated production systems and the CPS chemistry have enabled us to improve productivity by over 30 per cent, which enables us to respond faster and more efficiently to our customers and provides the flexibility we need to expand our business still further."
