With vehicle wrap demonstrations throughout the show, Hexis is to show an all-new cast film with Hex'Press adhesive technology specially designed for full vehicle wraps.
The new HX20000 combines a double-layered 80µm cast vinyl film with a solvent-based adhesive and a structured PE liner with Hex'Press technology for convenient air egress during application. Its flexibility and conformability are said to offer fast and risk free transfers for long-term outdoor applications and full vehicle wraps. Outdoor durability is rated to 10 years, making it the ideal for substrates with a long life cycle. HX20000 is available in 33 high-gloss colours with a roll size of 30m long and 1,370mm wide.
Also on show will be the enhanced HX100WG2, a 50µm cast vinyl film with a grey structured adhesive compound designed to be repositionable during application for easy elimination of creases and air bubbles. HX100WG1 is for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers and features an embossed PE liner and a conformable vinyl ideal for printed vehicle wraps. Rolls measure 45, 100 or 200m long and 1,370mm wide.
