HP will debut a number of wide format solutions including the Designjet L65500, Scitex FB950 and Scitex XP2750 printers.
The HP Designjet L65500 is the first in a new category of large-format signage printers with HP latex inks, said to reduce the environmental impact of printing. Designed to offer an alternative to solvent inks, the HP latex inks contain no toxic air pollutants or sensitisers and leave no hazardous waste. Suitable for outdoor and indoor applications, equipment is designed for high productivity, with no drying time and print speeds of up to 70m2/h for outdoor and 35m2/h for indoor.
With a 3.2m print width, the HP Scitex XP2750 UV ink printer features integrated flatbed module for output up to 635 by 800dpi on both flexible and rigid media. Maximum speed is 110m2/h, making it ideal for high volume environments looking for output flexibility.
Suitable for producing POP/POS, trade show and event signage on a range of rigid or flexible media, the HP Scitex FB950 2.5m hybrid UV printer is capable of printing at speeds of up to 80m2/h in billboard mode.
