Having decided to exhibit at Sign and Digital UK for the first time in over twenty years, Amari Plastics is set to launch a new Direct to Substrate (DTS) media range. Changes in the sign making industry have prompted the company to refine its range of foam PVC, aluminium composites and acrylic sheets, making the line-up more compatible with flat bed UV digital printing. The new DTS range has been designed to offer quality at competitive prices while ensuring products are more environmentally friendly than their predecessors.

Taking pride of place in the range will be the Alcan Forex Print Foam PVC sheet, engineered specifically for UV flat bed digital printing. Its bright white colour, smooth surface and easy remove P E film are said to make it ideal for screen or digital printing. Forex Print also adheres to Reach legislation and has no metals or chemicals that can leach into the environment.

Other newly engineered products include polypropylene, PVC, polyesters, ACM and vinyl substrates for use in the flat bed UV digital printing industry.

Amari will stand share with digital printing machinery distributor, Graphic Printing Technologies (GPT) using the GPT Mimaki, Canon, Epson and Apollo printers to showcase its digital media range including the MACtac portfolio. Amari Digital Supplies will also promote a range of aqueous, solvent and UVC products from Sihl, Hydroprint (UVC) and Kernow as well as selective banner grades from Soyang and a new one part floor graphic from Asphalt Art.
