Sign and Digital 2009 - LED displays lead the way
Applelec Sign Components will showcase a number of innovative illuminated sign solutions. Products will include the new Soled range of LED edge lit profiles from Co Sign of Belgium. Soled displays feature an aluminium centre piece with various screw fixing slots, allowing side pieces to be adjusted to fit either a five or 10mm thick acrylic panel. Profiles are interchangeable to overcome fixing constraints, making the edge kits ideal for lighting decorative acrylic panels, hanging signs, wall mounted signs and projecting signs.
Other new ideas from Applelec Components include the Domino LED range, designed specifically to highlight the aesthetics of the LED module, rather than mounting it within a letter. This allows for a variety of different face and side illuminated letter styles. Supplied either in kit form, or mounted within a letter ready for use, these outdoor rated LEDs are available for immediate sampling and production orders.
Another new lighting and manufacturing process, the LED letter module, provides an actual LED circuit board in the shape of customer specified letters. The module is sealed for outdoor use, making it ideal for letters with a narrow stroke width where an unhindered halo light is required and for face illuminated projects with a shallow return depth.
