Ink that was previously sold under the Uniform ActivaSol and Uniform Citrosol brand names will now be available from specialist large format distributor, Digidist. Users of Uniform Activasol will now purchase Colorific Elite, while users of Uniform Citrosol will purchase Colorific Fresh.

Uniform ink was previously manufactured under license for B&P Lightbrigade Group, which ceased trading in March 2009. Distributor, Digidist, was already selling the original ink under its Colorific ink brand, via an existing reseller channel.

Customers can therefore continue to purchase the ink from Granthams, printMAX, Signmaster Systems and in Ireland, Dennis D Evans. Colorific ink is also now available from Perfect Colours, and Selectech UK, the ink and media specialist formed by previous B&P Lightbrigade employees.

Managing director of Digidist, Nick Wintle, commented: "In recent times, Uniform customers have had conflicting information on specifying the right ink for their printers. We are therefore delighted to be able to offer them an ink that they can be certain is identical to that which they have been using in their printers over recent years."

Digidist is also pleased to report that it can provide ongoing warranty and on-site support to its Uniform customer base.

Wintle explained: "We have an agreement with a service provider with a fleet of 16 trained engineers, providing nationwide next-day coverage. This means a comprehensive and rapid response service is now available to all Uniform users."
