SignUp Auto is a new automatic nesting solution from EskoArtwork, designed to help sign and display companies utilize their raw substrates more efficiently. It is said to eliminate costly operator time in Adobe Illustrator or other desktop publishing packages and provides the mechanism as a dedicated workflow tool to accept files from a digital storefront.
EskoArtwork director platforms software product group, Geert De Proost, said: "SignUp Auto uses intelligent nesting and metadata such as material and number of copies to achieve ‘lights out' production, reducing errors and providing optimised material usage and cost efficiency.
"Material waste is reduced by re-using cut pieces with enhanced support for double-sided displays, multi-page PDF workflows and the ability to nest irregular shapes. With this support, digital large format printing and finishing shops get faster production throughput and are able to conserve operator time."
