Screen wash solvents can be recirculated and filtered using a new system from CPS, designed to minimise both the cost and environmental impact of screen printing applications. Two-in-one functionality also means the Green Screen Combeasy SW can clean with either water or solvents, eliminating the need for two stand alone booths.
Operators can choose whether to use the system for processing and cleaning screens with water or removing ink with screen wash solvents. When cleaning with solvents, the CPS 2 stage system of cartridge filtration, followed by gravity ink solids separation, helps to prolong the working life of the screen wash solvents.
The ability to reuse cleaning materials reduces waste and and makes it cost effective to use higher quality solvents for more consistent results.
In addition to keeping costs down, the system is environmentally friendly. It also supports a safe working environment, as low evaporation solvents are retained within the wash unit and recirculation tank, eliminating the need to handle harmful liquids or heavy containers.
